For those who are currently not in a large ensemble at UO: Students who are interested or required to audition for orchestra in the spring term should schedule an audition with Dr. Jacobs (djacobs@uoregon.edu) by March 1 and complete the audition by March 15. Prepare two contrasting pieces. This can be two movements from a solo, contrasting etudes, or contrasting orchestral excerpts totaling 5 minutes. Sightreading may be required.
