Thank you to all the strings who diligently prepared the finale of the Mozart. I really enjoyed getting to hear all of you play. I think we are on much better footing with that test behind us. Also, I must say how pleased I am to see a lot of small group work taking place during the break and before/after rehearsal. I have seen brass and woodwind groups working out note lengths and intonation, and string principals huddling to discuss bowings and style. Wow, it makes me so proud that you are working like professionals. I hope you feel it is paying off. Keep it up, organize formal sectionals as needed, keep demanding more:)
Tomorrow we will do Mozart focusing on the second movement and the development/recap of the 4th movement.
